It was another great Japan Fest for Jetaa NOLA this year!
We were especially excited to have some new JET Alumni faces at our booth this year, as well as catching up with some friends we haven't seen in a while! (Sadly, a couple of them are not pictured above, as they were off enjoying all the wonderful festival events!)
Despite a (refreshingly!) rainy finish, we had plenty of children and adults alike stop by our booth to take some silly photos with us. Even the Consulate General of Japan at Nashville couldn't resist taking a turn as Godzilla!

We also made a steady stream of new friends who took a little breather at our table to rest and personalize their own uchiwa fan to help beat the New Orleans October heat! Our fans were definitely a popular commodity!
Finally, we were extremely excited to debut our freshly screen printed Jetaa NOLA happi! After years of wishing and planning, we finally have a finished product to help our group look smart and professional while holding community events!
